I want to create a better vertical scroll experience in my comics, for myself if no one else. While business here at Patreon is slow, I’m retooling the website in a way that makes more sense for the casual reader. I’m fighting through the discouragement. I’m getting there.
Since I’m alone in this fandom, I’ll take this time to be self indulgent and talk about the above artwork. It’s called Silent Scream, and I really can’t remember when I made it. But it’s an abstract expression of the relationship between the characters Dragonfly and Poltergeist. They haven’t had any interaction in Ragdoll continuity as of yet, but their interaction in this piece represents the violent repression of self in the face of great danger and chaos. It is an expression of the need to purge shame from the innermost roots of the spirit.
